Should vocational streams have the same access to higher education as academic streams? If so, how?

What are the ways to invigorate the educational and banking sectors to achieve the desired social objectives, by allowing public and private sector partnership with effective monitoring mechanisms to ensure fulfillment of the national goals?

Dear Sir and All,

Existing Problem of Education range from following:
1. Inadequate Infrastructure - Lack of investment
2. Lack of Skilled Trainers - Personals who have the right skill do not get into training in India as it lacks recognition of talent - such personals look for better training by going for higher studies abroad and stick in the job there- such talent only comes back to India after spending most of there working age at foreign countries. Most of the money Indians spend on education abroad can be retained in India.
3. Lack of depth at the Higher Level of Studies - This is due to lack of Investment and lack of skilled personals as mentioned above in point no.2.

Solution:
1. Indian Government should Invite proposals from International Universities every year during the 5 year plan. It should limit and allow 20 Universities to setup institutes every year during the 5 year plan. First Preference should be given to universities which most of the Indian Students prefer while going for studies abroad.
Advantages:
A. It will create talent of International level in India.
B. Will deploy and train the young Indian population to compete internationally.
C. Will help retain money spent by Indians for studying abroad.
D. Highly skilled trainers will be available in India.
E. Create a pool of talent locally.

Comments are Welcome!

With Regards,
Rohit Jain
