Improved Access to Quality Education

Financing higher education is a crucial issue. How to develop a robust framework to encourage large scale infusion of private capital to this sector? Should not financing to education sector be treated as the priority sector lending by the banks? How to ensure that loans are provided at affordable rates of interest to deserving students pursuing higher and professional education, on a scale much larger than at present?

Most essential point here is Infrastructure development i.e. transport, electricity, green environment, sanitation, drinking water. No good university wish to start there campus in an robust infrastructure deficient area.
secondly, foreign varsity bill must be passed soon and there should a proper check & monitoring so that any Tri-Valley type university cannot enter.
Thirdly, government interference should be minimized and some groups consisting of intellectual of society must be formed to keep an eye on these varsities.
Education loan should be given priority for banks rather than Car loan.
Employment generation is also very necessary in order to keep our brain here in our country.

• The interest for education loan should be highly subsidized. However there should be a binding to work in India for 5 years. If not then the subsidy in interest should be compounded and recovered. For this there could be some guarantor involved.
