Science can be learnt better in a lab than in a class room. Children should be engaged in lab work during their studies.

Areas of national interest keeps on changing as a nation progresses, the final aim being all around wellness of its people. Areas of national interest must be identified by taking into account the local interests, which are easy to identify. Appropriate encouragement must be given to civil societies to identify the issues which are obstructing the path of development.

Quality of science education will be automatically enhanced when mathematical skills of the individual are increased.

Recent findings by ASER in its 2010 report have shown disappointing results. It pointed out the declining capacity of solving maths questions by students in the country. Various researches around the world has shown that maths and puzzle solving helps in development of brain which can thus help in enhancing quality skills to our workers.

Researching on topics of national interest is the best way to do research in India. For instance, research on tropical diseases, plant genetics, waste water treatment etc are some of them. To identify the actual topics, one needs to observe the actual ideals of a institute because most of the institutes were established addressing specific needs and it has to be studied whether these specific needs are met with research progress. to promote basic research, first an valid interest should be created otherwise what is the point in aimless basic research. Applied research at least feels like doing something useful its just a personal opinion. i think improvement in quality of science education can be achieved by exposure, that is opening the minds of the students to international science scenario and discussing interesting recent scientific problems and not sticking to the old textbook alone.
